state fair

this year we got to go to the state fair with Aunt Becca!  It was fun to have her there and it was nice having an extra set of hands!  It started off hot but cooled off as the sun set.  The kids stayed up late but we had a great time!

I didn't take too many pictures this year as I was either not feeling well (bad allergies) or tired from chasing Jackson around, but here are a few from our church's weekend up at Covenant Pines. It's always such a fun weekend to be up there and get to know people away from church.  And, people play with our kids :)

gopher football fan fest

We love Gopher football (well, really, anything Gophers) so we were excited to take the kids to the fan fest at the football stadium.  The kids loved it!  There were plenty of things to do and after the team finished their scrimmage, we got to go out on the field (which we were excited about too!).  It was a fun morning!

there was a gopher fun run for the kids...as you can see our kids were really into it! Sophie was sad here because the other kids were going to beat her, but everything was fine again when she got her ribbon pin at the end

I think she was the most excited to be out on the field!

I asked Kari to take some pictures of the kids in their big brother and big sister shirts to use when we "announced" that I was pregnant with #3.  It's been awhile now but I still wanted to make sure to remember these pictures!  I'm due 2/26 and feeling better as time goes by!  So far it has been a similar pregnancy to the other 2!

We were able to go up to the cabin 2 weekends in a row in August, just the 4 of us.  It was fun to get away and play!

delivering mail...this was the first time she got into this. She was able to find all of the places the mail needed to be delivered. This kept her entertained for a very long time!
