another sad day

Mike's grandpa passed away last night. Even though he wasn't doing well, I don't think any of us really expected him to die so soon. He will definitely be missed. He ALWAYS made us laugh with his stories and his "advice" to Mike on marriage. His memory has been fading over the past couple of years, but even though he didn't really remember us when we'd visit, he adored Sophie. She lit up his face the moment he saw her.
