our time in Iowa

We spent the past few days in Iowa for Mike's grandpa's funeral. Even though the reason for all being together was sad, it was a fun time hanging out as a family, especially with Jake getting to come back. Mike spoke at the funeral and had a very heartfelt tribute to his grandpa. We all were so proud of him. Sophie was a trooper and survived the craziness as well...missed naptimes, erratic eating times, lots of people around, car trips...needless to say, she's a tired little girl. I stayed home with her today so she could get some much needed sleep and some time at home. Here are some pictures from our trip.
