new tricks...growth update

I had to take Sophie back to the doctor again today because she is fighting a pretty bad cold and it doesn't seem to be getting any better, so I wanted the doc to check and make sure it wasn't anything else. She is fine...just a virus, but we also got an update on her growth. She weighed in at 15lbs 7oz and 26 inches, which means she has grown 2 inches and gained almost 2 pounds in a month and half. It's unbelievable. Her 4 month checkup is another couple of weeks so it'll be interesting to see how much she has grown again!

She also in the past couple of weeks has started doing a lot of new things. We've been able to capture pictures of some of them!

she is grabbing everything now and pulling it towards her mouth

she can hold herself up enough to be in her jump up thing

and finally...she is grabbing her bottle and putting it into her mouth. She hasn't figured out how to hold it up but it's still a start.
