Jackson's baptism

Jackson was baptized on Sunday at our church.  It was a special ceremony and we were grateful to be surrounded by family and friends who joined us for this occasion.  Unfortunately, my mom and sister both got pretty sick Saturday night so Becca wasn't able to make it to church and my mom had to leave during church and they both missed the lunch and hanging out time afterwards!  Bad timing!  Jackson did great. He was asleep when it started but woke up (but didn't cry) with the water.  While the congregation sang a blessing to him he was wide eyed and looking around. It was pretty cute. He also was wearing an outfit that is 99 years old...Mike's grandpa was baptized in it, as well as Tom, Mike (and his brothers), & Sophie.  What a neat tradition that we're so happy we get to continue on. Thanks to everyone who helped us make this a special day for our little guy!

Pastor Anne has now baptized both of our kids

he's finally awake...for a short time anyway!

Sophie loves having people at our house...here she is spinning

time for cake!

this is what Jackson did through most of his party

I don't think Sophie wanted Aunt Sarah to leave...she was walking around in her coat and eventually got her head in the sleeve!
