The other day I had the news on while we were doing stuff at home.  Out of nowhere, Sophie starts singing "Barack Obama" in this sing-song voice over and over.  He had just been on tv but we've never "taught" her who he was.  It's amazing to see what she picks up without us even knowing it.  She loves to say his name and now knows that he is our president and lives in Washington DC.  Here's a video showing off her smarts (:
